RiB is a group of volunteers who care for the planted areas and containers in the village. It also organises the annual hanging baskets and coordinates the Parish entry in the RHS “Britain in Bloom“ competition.
Funding is mainly by donations from Rottingdean residents, with sponsorship of the hanging baskets being very popular.
Working Sessions take place on alternate Tuesday mornings, more frequently during the Spring & Summer. These are friendly, informal sessions with no need for horticultural knowledge, All are welcome.

The RHS in Bloom competition will be judged at the end of June or the beginning of July.
For the second year in a row, Rottingdean Parish has been awarded Gold in the South and South East in Bloom competition!
