RVN is a bi-monthly news magazine serving Rottingdean Village. It is run entirely by volunteers and is circulated free of charge to all households and businesses within the parish boundaries. It features news articles by local groups, clubs, churches, schools and societies. It includes a full-page report from Rottingdean Parish Council, features from Rottingdean Whiteway Centre, Rottingdean Heritage and Rottingdean Arts, and a report from our Ward Councillors on Brighton and Hove City Council. There is a diary section listing events in the village in the two months covering that edition of the magazine. The magazine is unded entirely through advertising by local businesses, the Parish Council, Rottingdean Arts, the Whiteway Centre, Rottingdean Heritage and others. We thank them all.
The magazine is published bi-monthly, and deadlines for copy and diary entries are:
1st January (for Feb-March); 1st March (for Apr-May); 1st May (for Jun-July); 1st July (for Aug-Sept); 1st September (for Oct-Nov); 1st November (for Dec-Jan).
Deadlines for adverts are a week earlier.
Articles are generally limited to 200 words, more guidance from the editor.
