Find us on:
Rottingdean & Saltdean Lions Club has been serving the people in our area for over 50 years during which time we have raised many hundreds of thousands of pounds for mainly local good causes. Recently we have provided Christmas parcels for disadvantaged families, a Christmas lunch for seniors, given reading books to all Reception Class pupils in our local Primary Schools, supported the local foodbanks and helped individuals and families in need.
We are part of Lions Clubs International which is the world’s largest service club organisation. Its 1.4 million members worldwide are dedicated to bettering the quality of life for the less fortunate in our local communities.
We are extremely sad that we are unable to hold our annual Fayre in Rottingdean and Gala in Saltdean this year. The financial risks associated with these events currently make them not viable. We have run these events for many decades and raised thousands of pounds to help those less fortunate than ourselves and it is sad that some good causes may lose out. We are investigating all options available to us and hope to be able to hold them again in 2025.
We will however still be around and you can meet us on the Undercliff on 5th May, Saltdean Oval on 26th May and at the Village Fair on 3rd August
