Since opening in 1974, RWC has remained a volunteer run centre serving the community. Wholly self-supporting, our large halls, and rooms can be hired for wedding receptions, parties, regular meetings of clubs, or other events. A wide range of academic and leisure courses are offered over three terms. Weekend talks on a variety of subjects run throughout the year.
It is September 1st and today WE ARE NOW LIVE with our Rottingdean Whiteway Centre Talks under the theme of ‘Inspirational Talks from Inspirational People in Sussex’. Your committee at the Whiteway Centre have put together an exciting winter programme from local people who have a great story to tell.
And the even better news is we have reduced the price of the tickets to just £10 including a refreshment! So, whether you are interested in vaccines, back to nature, our regional farming or the Royal Pavilion, we have planned the very best speakers for you, with even more to come in the New Year!

You can book one or more of the four rooms available at the Centre.
Main Hall – 150 standing or 80 seated capacity
Youth Hall – 100 standing or 50 seated capacity
GB Room – 50 standing or 20 seated capacity
Round Room – 20 standing or 11 seated capacity
Courses run three times a year:
January to March, April to July and September to December.
